Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoter is NuMax Realty (Pty) Ltd, situated at 36 Main Road, Kleinmond (“NuMax”).

2. Competition period

The competition opens at 12:00 on 1 September 2026 and closes at 12:00 on 30 October 2026.

To qualify, a valid NuMax mandate arising from an introduction must be signed by no later than 5 November 2026.

Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.

3. Who may enter

The competition is open to natural persons who:

• Are 18 years or older.
• Reside in South Africa.
• Have a valid South African identity document or passport.
• Provide complete and accurate contact details.
• Comply with these terms and conditions.

No entry fee or purchase is required.

4. Persons who may not enter

The following persons, and their spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members, may not enter or receive the prize:

• Directors, shareholders, members or employees of NuMax.
• NuMax property practitioners.
• Any person or entity that directly or indirectly controls, or is controlled by, NuMax.
• Any person or business involved in organising, administering, advertising, verifying or conducting the competition.
• Suppliers providing goods or services specifically connected with the competition.

5. How to enter

A participant may submit a property introduction:

• Through the online entry form;
• By WhatsApp to 070 303 2044; or
• By contacting NuMax directly on 028 271 3407.
• By sending an email to pasella@numax.co.za

The participant must provide:

• Their full name and contact details;
• The property owner’s name;
• The property address or sufficient information to identify it;
• The owner’s preferred contact details; and
• Confirmation that the owner knows about the introduction and has agreed that NuMax may contact them.

6. Owner consent

Participants may not submit a property owner’s details without the owner’s knowledge and permission.

NuMax may contact the owner to verify this permission. An entry may be disqualified if the owner denies providing permission or asks NuMax not to contact them.

Participants may make an introduction only. They may not:

• Market or advertise the property;
• Provide property or pricing advice;
• Negotiate with the owner;
• Present themselves as representing NuMax; or
• Attempt to obtain a mandate on NuMax’s behalf.

7. What constitutes a qualifying introduction

An introduction qualifies only when:

• It is received during the competition period;
• It concerns a genuine property owner who is considering selling;
• The owner consented to being introduced to NuMax;
• The property was not already recorded as an active NuMax lead;
• The property was not already subject to a NuMax mandate;
• The introduction was not previously submitted by another participant; and
• It results in a qualifying NuMax mandate by the qualification deadline.

Submitting a property lead does not automatically create an entry into the draw.

8. What constitutes a qualifying mandate

A qualifying mandate is a valid written sole or dual sales mandate concluded between NuMax and the property owner, accepted by NuMax and signed by all persons whose authority or consent is legally required to market the property.

The following must also apply:

• The mandate must relate to a property within an area serviced by NuMax.
• The marketing price and mandate conditions must be acceptable to NuMax.
• All required FICA and ownership information must be supplied.
• The mandate must remain valid and active on the mandate qualification date.
• A mandate that is withdrawn, cancelled, rescinded, found to be invalid or obtained through misleading information before that date will not qualify.
• An open mandate will not qualify unless NuMax expressly decides before the campaign opens that open mandates are included.

9. Number of entries

• Each qualifying mandate earns the participant one entry into the draw.
• More than one qualifying property earns one separate entry for each qualifying mandate.
• A property with multiple owners still constitutes one property and one entry.
• Multiple mandates relating to the same property do not create additional entries.
• A participant may introduce their own property, provided all qualifying requirements are met.

10. Duplicate introductions

Where the same property is introduced by more than one person, the entry first received and recorded by NuMax will receive the opportunity to qualify.

NuMax’s dated entry register will be used to determine which introduction was received first.

No participant may claim another person’s introduction, submit the same property repeatedly or divide one introduction between multiple people.

11. The prize

The prize is R10 000 in cash, payable by electronic funds transfer into a South African bank account held in the verified winner’s name.

There is one prize only. The prize may not be transferred to another person.

12. Winner selection

Each qualifying mandate will be allocated one entry in the draw.

The winner will be selected randomly on 6 November 2026 under the supervision of an independent attorney, advocate, registered auditor or accountant.

The independent person will verify and certify that the draw was conducted fairly and in accordance with the published rules.

13. Winner notification

The provisional winner will be contacted using the details supplied with the entry.

The winner must provide reasonable proof of identity and banking details. If NuMax cannot contact the winner within 10 business days, despite reasonable attempts, NuMax may conduct a further independently supervised draw.

No additional condition or payment may be imposed on the winner after the draw.

14. Announcement and publicity

The winner will not be required to:

• Attend the draw;
• Appear in photographs;
• Participate in advertising; or
• Provide a testimonial.

Any publicity participation will be voluntary. This protection is expressly required by the Consumer Protection Regulations.

15. Disqualification

NuMax may disqualify an entry if:

• False, incomplete or misleading information was supplied;
• The owner did not consent to the introduction;
• The participant impersonated or misrepresented another person;
• The participant attempted to interfere with the entry or draw process;
• The mandate was obtained through pressure, harassment or improper conduct;
• The participant acted as an unauthorised property practitioner; or
• The entry otherwise contravenes these rules or applicable law.

16. Personal information

Personal information will be processed only for:

• Recording and verifying entries;
• Contacting property owners who have agreed to the introduction;
• Determining qualifying mandates;
• Conducting and verifying the draw;
• Contacting and verifying the winner; and
• Meeting legal and recordkeeping obligations.

Accepting the competition rules does not constitute consent to receive future marketing. Any marketing consent should appear as a separate, optional checkbox.

Competition records will be retained for at least three years where required by law and thereafter deleted, anonymised or retained only where another lawful basis exists. The Information Regulator confirms that electronic direct marketing is separately regulated under POPIA. Information Regulator guidance.

17. Changes or cancellation

NuMax may amend, suspend or cancel the competition only where reasonably necessary because of circumstances beyond its control, fraud, legal requirements or a material technical failure.

Any material amendment will be published on the NuMax website and may not unfairly remove rights already earned by participants.

18. General

NuMax’s decisions regarding factual verification and qualification will be final, subject to applicable consumer law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
